T-Shelf

  • Swedish design brand Hem launches T Shelf by Formafantasma - the ultimate in engineered design.

T-shaped shelves made from extruded aluminium slice effortlessly through upright sections, they are delicately suspended without clumsy fixings resulting in an object that is slim, seamless and refined but also very, very strong.

Stripe Rug

  • Fashion designer Arthur Arbesser has a particular skill with pattern and color. His bold graphic prints are frequently inspired by the architecture and design heritage of his home city, Vienna. For Hem he has applied his skills to a series of rugs, throws, and cushions. Each features a distinctive stylized pattern in an appealingly unconventional color palette. The Stripe Rug is thickly tufted in European wool and finished with a generous pile height for an especially luscious surface and a silk-like shine. Produced in India by a weaving collective to global ethical standards such as GoodWeave, SGS, and Woolmark.

  • Born and raised in Vienna, designer Arthur Arbesser creates work that is strongly influenced by the city’s history and culture. In 2013, Arbesser has launched his own womenswear label, which he describes as sophisticated yet bursting with energy. A graduate from Central Saint Martins in London, he is one of the most promising young designers in fashion today.

  • For the Sui desk chair, London-based studio Raw Edges has looked to the dynamic nature of production in public spaces. The inviting desk chair is enlivened with a swivel and an embracing wooden surface, creating an intriguing niche with its hybrid, multi-purpose use. • London based design studio, Raw Edges is steadfast in its allegiance to colour, pattern, and movement.

Proto Table

  • The Proto series launched in 2019 with a range of furniture for seating. With the latest addition to the series, we have created matching tables with the same kind of sculpted aesthetic that has become a prized trademark for the Proto collection. The tables are based on the same architectural principle, and the design process has once again been led by the Scottish-Swedish designer Nick Ross.

  • Nick Ross’ Stockholm-based design practice takes refreshing inspiration from philosophy and art.
Well-researched, the shapes and forms unveiled are a response to human stories, new behaviours, and historic crafts. But it is the poetry in Ross’ — minimal yet considered — work that stands out, filled with vivid narratives and beautiful ideas. Tactility, through both materiality and finish, runs through Ross’ collections, creating an inviting sense of humanism around everything the studio produces. This and more are reasons why Ross received +Halle’s Annual Brief on Sharing.
