Örsjö named Design Company of the Year

Huge congratulations to Örsjö Belysning for being named ‘Design Company of the Year’ by Swedish design council Möbelriket.  The prestigious award was presented during ‘The Furniture Parliament’, one of the largest meeting-places for furniture and product design in Sweden.

The council singled out Örsjö to highlight their ‘distinctive design philosophy’, which over the last 65 years has seen them work with leading design talent including Claesson Koivisto Rune and Jonas Bohlin. It is ‘their bold and genuine approach to lighting design which makes their collection so exciting and vital’.

Örsjö continue to define their own path working with emerging design talent with forthcoming products by Note Design Studio and Folkform to be launched next month at the Northern Light Fair (4 - 8 February).
