Previously available in a natural wheat mix, Baux has broadened its offerings through rigorous research to include a range of vibrant yet biodegradable colours. This new colour palette allows architects & designers to enhance acoustics while honouring sustainable design principles.
During the summer months Relay takes the opportunity to sit down and review the first half of the year. This has been especially important this year, as 2023 saw the rush of our industry getting back out and re-establishing themselves in the real world. The result is our annual Mid Year Design Report.
Baux returned to Clerkenwell Design Week this May with their best exhibition to date. Collaborating with the brilliant Morag Myerscough to produce a pavilion championing custom-colours. Morag’s colourful pattern wrapped the Baux exhibition making it a bright spot in this year’s festivities.
Relay will be out in Milan this week to see the latest developments in new furniture, lighting and product design. We will be exploring the city exhibitions and are delighted to be back at the Euroluce fair to support Ago, as they launch 4 new lighting collections by Sebastian Herkner, Sylvain Willenz and BYMARS.
During Stockholm Furniture Fair 2023, BAUX curated a museum-like exhibition and Acoustic Lounge, dedicated to exploring the future of Architecture, Interior Design and Wellbeing.

BAUX have decided to put effort, money, engagement, and decisiveness into fulfilling one of the United Nations goals—Goal 13—which involves making all areas of their business climate neutral in 2021.
BAUX introduces a new sustainable and innovative acoustic product: BAUX Acoustic Felt. The acoustic felt is made out of up-cycled fabric offcuts combined with a low melt polyester fibre, which gives the material a unique structure. The offcuts consist of 100% polyester-based threads, sourced from the Swedish textile industry.
