Ago - A Korean company exploring the balance between beauty and function in lighting design.

Ago value simple, honest and refined aesthetics. As a brand, they collaborate with designers who share these values, working together to realise their ideas through a dedication to craft and new technology. Ago acknowledge that every detail defines the product. Through using their own production and working with local craft manufacturers, Ago ensure full control over the quality, from each component to the final product - nothing is overlooked.
Working with international designers including Big Game (CH), ByMars (SE) Jonas Wagell (SE). Jinsik Kim (KOR), John Astbury & Tove Thambert (SE) and Studio Word (KOR), the collection forges its own contemporary outlook, combining the aesthetics of Scandinavian modernism with Korean formality and purism.
“Creating objects means recording today’s history. Ago develops every object with the consideration that our work will remain as a document of today. Together with our accomplished designers, we craft every object to be distinctive and bold with meticulous attention to detail.” — Mars Yoo - Creative Director, Ago
